Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Develop hybrid classical-quantum algorithms to solve optimization problems in logistics and materials science
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers in quantum software development
- Establish quantum security protocols for next-gen blockchain systems
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies (photonic computing, topological qubits)
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and strategic partners
- Drive patent development in quantum algorithm innovation
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 8+ years experience considered)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum computing platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, or IonQ)
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant computing
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and high-performance simulation
- Published research in quantum algorithm design or quantum information theory
- Experience leading technical teams in fast-paced R&D environments
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and fault-tolerant roadmap
