Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop quantum algorithms to optimize machine learning and cryptography systems
- Collaborate with physicists to integrate quantum processors with classical computing frameworks
- Lead R&D initiatives for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Document quantum system specifications and performance benchmarks
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum computing principles
- Partner with product teams to translate quantum capabilities into market-ready solutions
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, QAOA)
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum systems
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and complexity theory
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-disciplinary technical projects
