Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for 2026-era applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and engineers to develop quantum algorithms
- Optimize qubit stability and error correction protocols for industrial-scale systems
- Collaborate with AI researchers to integrate quantum solutions into machine learning frameworks
- Develop quantum security protocols for next-generation encryption standards
- Present architectural blueprints and progress reports to executive stakeholders
- Stay ahead of emerging quantum technologies through continuous research
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm design
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Track record of publishing research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience leading complex technical projects with cross-disciplinary teams
- Strong analytical skills with ability to solve abstract quantum mechanical problems
