Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Develop quantum algorithms for optimization problems in AI and logistics
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Establish quantum security protocols for next-gen blockchain networks
- Partner with NASA and DARPA on quantum-encrypted satellite communications
- Author patents for quantum error correction methodologies
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years building quantum systems with error rates below 0.1%
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit optimization frameworks
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum coherence techniques
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and quantum control systems
- Deep understanding of topological qubit implementations
- Security clearance or ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance
- Portfolio of working quantum applications (GitHub/ArXiv)
