Responsibilities
- Design and optimize quantum processor architectures for 100+ qubit systems
- Develop quantum error-correction protocols achieving <0.1% logical error rates
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Research and implement novel quantum algorithms for cryptography and simulation
- Secure patents and publish findings in Nature Physics/Science
- Drive quantum hardware-software co-design initiatives
- Maintain compliance with NIST quantum security standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or superconducting qubit design
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Proven track record of publishing in top-tier quantum journals
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with cryogenic quantum control systems
- Strong background in topological quantum computing theories
