Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms and error-correction frameworks for 2026-era hardware
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical architectures to solve complex optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum applications across finance, logistics, and materials science
- Establish quantum security protocols resistant to next-gen cryptographic threats
- Drive quantum-cloud integration strategies leveraging AWS Braket and Azure Quantum
- Contribute to open-source quantum frameworks and publish breakthrough research
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq) and circuit optimization
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and NISQ-era limitations
- Proven track record of implementing quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC)
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and cloud platforms
- Strong background in superconducting qubits or trapped-ion systems
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals (Nature, PRX Quantum)
- Experience leading technical teams through full quantum development lifecycle
