Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for real-world applications in finance, healthcare, and logistics
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers to develop quantum error correction protocols
- Optimize quantum circuit architectures for hybrid classical-quantum computing environments
- Collaborate with product teams to translate quantum capabilities into commercial solutions
- Research and evaluate emerging quantum hardware platforms (superconducting, trapped ions, photonic)
- Develop quantum security frameworks for next-gen encryption systems
- Present findings at international quantum computing conferences and publish in peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent industry experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum algorithm design or quantum hardware integration
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and frameworks
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Proven track record of publishing in quantum computing research or leading quantum projects
- Familiarity with quantum machine learning and optimization techniques
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex concepts to stakeholders
