Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms and error-correction protocols for commercial applications
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing systems for Fortune 500 clients
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum machine learning and cryptography
- Collaborate with quantum hardware teams to optimize system performance
- Develop quantum security frameworks for post-quantum encryption standards
- Mentor junior researchers and publish breakthrough findings in peer-reviewed journals
- Drive strategic partnerships with national labs and academic institutions
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with exceptional experience)
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms or error mitigation systems
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with quantum hardware integration (superconducting, ion trap, photonic)
- Deep understanding of quantum complexity theory and computational models
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and statistical physics
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business solutions
