Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical architectures for real-world enterprise applications
- Lead quantum system integration with classical HPC infrastructure
- Research and mitigate quantum error correction mechanisms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into quantum solutions
- Drive innovation in quantum machine learning and cryptography applications
- Document quantum system architectures and publish research findings
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum hardware design
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Strong background in high-performance computing and distributed systems
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Excellent problem-solving skills for complex quantum systems
