Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum architectures capable of maintaining coherence in real-world environments
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead integration of quantum processors with classical HPC infrastructure
- Create quantum error mitigation strategies for industrial applications
- Collaborate with research teams to push quantum computing boundaries
- Document quantum system specifications and performance benchmarks
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 3+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Proven track record in quantum algorithm development
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Experience with quantum hardware (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
