Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures compatible with 2026-era hardware constraints
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for pharmaceutical discovery and materials science
- Lead quantum error correction protocol optimization for fault-tolerant operations
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum accelerators into machine learning pipelines
- Drive quantum security frameworks for post-quantum cryptographic systems
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum circuit design and simulation methodologies
- Publish research in IEEE Transactions on Quantum Engineering and Nature Quantum
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design using Qiskit, Cirq, or Q# frameworks
- Proficiency in superconducting qubit manipulation and cryogenic system integration
- Demonstrated experience with quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC)
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals/conferences
- Strong background in high-performance computing architectures (HPC)
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into executable engineering specifications
- Certification in Quantum Computing Architecture (QCA) preferred
