Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Develop quantum error correction protocols targeting 2026 deployment milestones
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating quantum algorithms into hardware specifications
- Research emerging quantum technologies and integrate breakthrough innovations into roadmap
- Optimize quantum circuits for NISQ-era and fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Collaborate with security teams to develop quantum-resistant encryption frameworks
- Present quantum computing strategies to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals (Nature/Science/Physical Review)
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and circuit optimization
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC, color codes)
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware integration and control systems
- Proven track record leading quantum computing R&D projects with measurable outcomes
- Strong knowledge of quantum cryptography protocols (QKD, PQC)
- Ability to communicate complex quantum concepts to non-technical stakeholders
