Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems for enterprise and research applications
- Develop error-correction protocols and quantum circuit optimization algorithms
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and data scientists
- Design quantum-resistant security frameworks for 2026-era threats
- Partner with academic institutions to publish breakthrough research
- Translate quantum theoretical models into practical hardware implementations
- Drive innovation in quantum machine learning and simulation technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing research or development
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, qubit manipulation, and cryogenic systems
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with superconducting and photonic quantum processors
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Track record of translating theoretical concepts into working prototypes
