Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems using superconducting and photonic qubits
- Design error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Develop quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization problems
- Validate system performance through quantum simulations and real-world testing
- Drive quantum hardware-software co-design innovation
- Secure patents and publish research in top-tier journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field (MS with 8+ years experience)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerance theory
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum computing frameworks
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware and microwave control systems
- Published research in quantum computing or high-performance computing
- Strong background in superconducting circuit design or photonic systems
- Track record of leading complex technical projects from concept to deployment
