Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error-corrected qubit architectures using superconducting systems
- Integrate quantum-classical hybrid computing workflows
- Lead research on fault-tolerant quantum computing protocols
- Collaborate with hardware teams to bridge software-hardware interfaces
- Document breakthrough methodologies for patent applications
- Mentor junior researchers in emerging quantum frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience)
- 3+ years in quantum algorithm development or quantum hardware engineering
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems or photonic quantum computing
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex systems modeling
