Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum error correction protocols for next-generation processors
- Develop hybrid classical-quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Collaborate on quantum hardware integration with cryogenic systems
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning applications
- Document quantum system architectures and security frameworks
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's with exceptional experience)
- 3+ years of quantum algorithm development or quantum hardware experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and information theory
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (AWS Braket, IBM Quantum)
- Publication record in quantum computing or peer-reviewed conferences
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and fault-tolerance strategies
