Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with physicists to calibrate quantum processors
- Simulate quantum circuits using Qiskit and Cirq frameworks
- Lead open-source contributions to quantum computing libraries
- Publish research in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming (QASM, Q#)
- Proficiency in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Publication record in quantum computing research
- Expertise in Python/C++ for high-performance simulations
- Familiarity with quantum hardware (IBM Q, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in machine learning and optimization
