Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for NISQ-era hardware
- Develop novel error correction protocols for 1000+ qubit systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum software-hardware co-design
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals/conferences
- Translate theoretical models into scalable quantum applications
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing fundamentals
- Collaborate with industry partners on real-world quantum use cases
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE)
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum information science
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Track record of solving complex computational problems
- Passion for ethical quantum technology development
