Our state-of-the-art Quantum Accelerator Lab features 128-qubit processors and maintains a 99.9% quantum coherence rate. You'll lead a team of 12 researchers in developing novel algorithms for cryptography optimization, molecular modeling, and AI acceleration. The position includes a $500K research budget and dedicated access to our quantum cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for real-world applications in finance, pharmaceuticals, and logistics
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of physicists, computer scientists, and mathematicians
- Publish research in top-tier journals including Nature Quantum and Science Advances
- Collaborate with industry partners to commercialize quantum breakthroughs
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Mentor junior researchers and establish lab protocols for quantum experimentation
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years of quantum research experience
- Published work in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction (minimum 3 peer-reviewed papers)
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Proven track record of leading complex R&D projects with measurable outcomes
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and computational complexity theory
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and superconducting qubits
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to communicate quantum concepts to diverse audiences
