Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum algorithms targeting 2026-era computational milestones
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing error-corrected quantum processors
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum security frameworks
- Author breakthrough research papers for Nature/Science journals
- Secure $10M+ in DARPA/NSF quantum computing grants
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers in quantum machine learning
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing architectures
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with quantum annealing or superconducting qubits
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to secure federal research funding
- Experience mentoring quantum engineering teams
- Clearance for DOE/NIST quantum research collaboration
