Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for practical applications in cryptography and materials science

- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum processor performance
- Secure $5M+ in research grants and publish in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor PhD researchers and establish industry partnerships
- Develop roadmaps for quantum advantage in real-world scenarios
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum focus
- 5+ years of quantum computing research experience
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Experience securing federal research grants (NSF/DOE)
- Proven track record of mentoring research scientists
