Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for 2026-era quantum advantage applications
- Architect fault-tolerant quantum computing systems with >1000 qubits

- Manage $5M+ R&D budget for quantum hardware innovation
- Develop patentable quantum error correction methodologies
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Week and Nature Quantum journals
- Mentor PhD-level quantum computing researchers
- Strategize commercial applications for quantum advantage in finance and logistics
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 5+ years of quantum algorithm development experience
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum systems
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC)
- Experience with superconducting qubit architectures
- Track record of securing DoE/NSF quantum grants
- Strong knowledge of NISQ-era limitations and 2026 quantum roadmaps
