Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental research in quantum error correction and qubit stabilization
- Collaborate with hardware teams to develop scalable quantum architectures
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor PhD candidates and drive open-source quantum initiatives
- Secure $5M+ in DoE/NSF grants for quantum computing research
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years postdoc experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in tensor network simulations and quantum circuit optimization
- Experience with superconducting/qubit hardware systems
- Strong background in quantum information theory and cryptography
- Track record of translating theoretical concepts to experimental prototypes
