Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, machine learning, and cryptography applications
- Lead experimental quantum computing projects using superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors and error correction protocols
- Develop quantum software frameworks and SDKs for enterprise applications
- Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive quantum literacy initiatives across the organization
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years postdoctoral experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithm design (Grover's, Shor's, VQE) and quantum error correction
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulation frameworks
- Strong background in quantum hardware architectures (superconducting qubits, trapped ions)
- Track record of high-impact publications in quantum computing or adjacent fields
- Experience with cloud-based quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences
