Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum hardware performance at cryogenic temperatures
- Collaborate with engineers to integrate quantum modules into hybrid computing architectures
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and industry white papers
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development initiatives
- Participate in cross-functional projects with AI and cybersecurity divisions
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research with superconducting qubits
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Quipper)
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing conferences/journals
- Experience with low-temperature experimental setups and quantum error correction
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical models into functional prototypes
