Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and cryptography
- Develop error-correction protocols to enhance qubit coherence and scalability
- Lead experimental quantum computing projects using superconducting and photonic systems
- Collaborate with AI teams to develop quantum-classical hybrid computing frameworks
- Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum methodologies and architectures
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum physics and computational theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research with superconducting/qubit systems
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, Cirq)
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and statistical mechanics
- Published research in quantum information science or related domains
