Responsibilities
- Design and develop novel quantum algorithms for complex computational problems.
- Conduct research in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant quantum computing.
- Collaborate with engineers to prototype and test quantum hardware and software solutions.
- Publish research findings in leading scientific journals and present at conferences.
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to the development of quantum computing best practices.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in quantum computing and related fields.
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into real-world applications.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong background in quantum mechanics, quantum information theory, and quantum algorithms.
- Experience with quantum programming languages such as Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or similar.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research and publish peer-reviewed papers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence is a plus.
