Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead research initiatives in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to prototype quantum processors

- Secure $1M+ in annual research grants through NIH/NSF proposals
- Mentor PhD candidates and publish 4+ peer-reviewed papers annually
- Present findings at quantum computing conferences (QIP, QCE)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Expertise in quantum algorithms and complexity theory
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with scientific computing libraries
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Strong background in linear algebra and statistical mechanics
- Experience with quantum hardware simulators (QASM, Project Q)
