Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Conduct experimental research on quantum hardware systems using cryogenic setups
- Develop error-correction protocols for scalable quantum computing architectures
- Collaborate with engineering teams to prototype quantum processors
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and lead cross-functional project teams

Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum computing focus
- 3+ years of experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing principles
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and quantum mechanics
- Proven track record of publishing in quantum computing or related fields
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Ability to translate complex theoretical concepts into practical implementations
