Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental research on quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for real-world deployment
- Author breakthrough research publications and patent disclosures
- Mentor junior researchers and establish industry-academic partnerships
- Translate theoretical concepts into scalable quantum computing solutions
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years postdoctoral experience
- Proven expertise in quantum algorithm design and quantum circuit optimization
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.) on quantum computing topics
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Quil)
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and error correction principles
- Experience with high-performance computing environments and HPC frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to secure competitive research funding
