Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Develop error-correction protocols to stabilize multi-qubit quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to prototype quantum processors operating at room temperature
- Lead open-source quantum computing initiatives and publish in Nature/Science journals
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum architectures and methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
- Partner with Fortune 500 clients to solve industry-specific computational bottlenecks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent research experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing experience with superconducting or photonic systems
- Expertise in quantum algorithm development (Shor's, Grover's, VQE)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Quil)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and error mitigation techniques
