Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams on qubit coherence and gate fidelity improvements
- Lead cross-functional projects with AI and materials science divisions
- Publish research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor PhD interns and contribute to quantum education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum information theory or algorithms
- Expertise in linear algebra, probability, and complexity theory
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with high-performance computing experience
- Strong track record of solving NP-hard problems
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
