Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for solving complex computational problems.
- Conduct research on quantum error correction and fault-tolerant quantum computing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and test quantum hardware and software.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in quantum computing and publish research findings in leading journals and conferences.
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to the overall research strategy of the team.
- Present research results to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Strong background in quantum mechanics, linear algebra, and probability theory.
- Experience with quantum programming languages such as Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and MATLAB.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Prior experience in quantum computing research is highly desirable.
