Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional research teams in quantum machine learning applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors
- Translate theoretical research into scalable industrial solutions
- Publish findings in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Drive quantum security initiatives for next-gen cryptographic systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (exceptional MS candidates with 5+ years experience considered)
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Proven track record publishing in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Mastery of quantum error correction and fault tolerance techniques
- Strong Python/C++ proficiency with quantum simulation frameworks
- Experience with quantum hardware (superconducting, trapped ions, photonics)
- Demonstrated ability to translate research into commercial applications
