Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization
- Design and implement error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to bridge quantum software-hardware integration
- Lead experimental validation of quantum algorithms on real quantum processors
- Publish research in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Secure federal and corporate grants for quantum research initiatives
- Mentor junior researchers and drive cross-departmental innovation
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of quantum computing research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published papers in quantum information science or quantum algorithms
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles
- Experience with superconducting or ion-trap quantum systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and computational complexity
