Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Lead experimental research on quantum hardware error correction and coherence enhancement
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise applications
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international quantum symposiums
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processor architectures
- Secure external funding through NSF and DARPA quantum computing initiatives
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Computational Mathematics
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum computing platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, D-Wave)
- Expertise in quantum circuit optimization and error mitigation techniques
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
