Responsibilities
- Develop quantum algorithms for optimization problems in machine learning
- Design and execute experiments with superconducting qubits at 15mK temperatures
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum acceleration into neural networks
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature Physics/Science journals
- Lead cross-functional projects with cryptography and materials science divisions
- Mentor PhD interns in quantum error correction techniques
- Secure patents for novel quantum gate architectures
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum information theory or condensed matter physics
- Expertise in cryogenic systems and microwave control electronics
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex probability theory
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with scientific computing libraries
- Experience with quantum annealing or trapped-ion systems preferred
