Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in developing quantum machine learning frameworks
- Author breakthrough research papers for Nature Physics and IEEE journals
- Translate theoretical models into scalable quantum circuit architectures
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants from DARPA and NSF
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with superconducting qubit systems
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological computing
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum annealing frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to secure federal research funding
- Expertise in quantum algorithm complexity analysis
- Patent portfolio in quantum hardware or software
