Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for cryptography, optimization, and material science
- Develop quantum error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant computation
- Collaborate with hardware teams to bridge theoretical models with quantum processor architectures
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives for quantum machine learning applications
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at international quantum conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to open-source quantum frameworks

Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit design
- Published work in Nature/Science or equivalent high-impact journals
- Deep understanding of quantum information theory and many-body quantum systems
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments and parallel programming
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong track record of translating theoretical concepts into practical implementations
