Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum hardware performance at cryogenic temperatures
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Pioneer hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise applications
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum methodologies and architectures
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory and experimental physics
- Present findings at premier conferences like IEEE Quantum Week and APS March Meeting
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research with published papers in Nature/Science
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and simulation frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Proficiency with cryogenic quantum systems and control electronics
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into experimental prototypes
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Experience with high-performance computing (HPC) environments and parallel programming
