Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical 2026-era applications
- Lead research teams in developing fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize qubit coherence and gate fidelity
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals and industry conferences
- Translate theoretical models into scalable quantum software solutions
- Secure and manage research partnerships with national labs and academic institutions
- Mentor junior researchers through our Quantum Academy program
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent high-impact journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and topological qubit systems
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Demonstrated ability to secure federal research grants (NSF/DOE/DARPA)
- Experience mentoring cross-disciplinary research teams
