We're pioneering quantum-resistant cryptography and fault-tolerant computing systems that will redefine global infrastructure. This role bridges theoretical physics and practical implementation, working with Nobel laureates and industry disruptors to solve challenges that will shape the next decade.
What You'll Achieve: Design quantum algorithms for post-quantum cryptography, lead experimental quantum computing trials, and publish breakthrough research in Nature Physics. You'll collaborate with government agencies and Fortune 500 companies deploying 2026-era security protocols.
Responsibilities
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for 2026-scale quantum processors
- Lead experimental trials of 100+ qubit systems at cryogenic temperatures
- Design quantum-resistant cryptographic frameworks for financial systems
- Author peer-reviewed publications on quantum supremacy applications
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum machine learning techniques
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum annealing architectures
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent research experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum computing platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, or similar)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
- Expertise in Python, Qiskit, or Cirq for quantum simulation
- Deep understanding of Shor's algorithm and Grover's optimization
- Experience with low-level quantum hardware control systems
- Security clearance preferred for government collaboration projects
