Responsibilities
- Design and deploy fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures supporting 10,000+ qubit systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical integration frameworks for enterprise applications
- Lead quantum network topology design connecting global research nodes
- Implement quantum error correction protocols achieving 99.999% fidelity
- Architect cryogenic control systems with sub-millisecond latency requirements
- Optimize quantum algorithms for specific hardware constraints
- Collaborate with security teams to develop quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or high-performance computing design
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface codes, color codes)
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and quantum control systems
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Security clearance preferred (or ability to obtain)
