Responsibilities
- Design and deploy quantum computing hardware architectures supporting 100+ qubit systems
- Develop cryogenic control systems and quantum error correction protocols
- Integrate quantum processors with classical high-performance computing networks
- Create security frameworks for quantum-encrypted communications infrastructure
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing quantum cloud service platforms
- Research and validate emerging quantum materials and superconducting technologies
- Document architecture specifications and compliance with NIST quantum security standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field (MS with 8+ years experience)
- 5+ years designing large-scale quantum computing or superconducting systems
- Expertise in cryogenic engineering and quantum error correction algorithms
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, or Cirq)
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) and container orchestration
- Certification in quantum security protocols (e.g., NIST IR 8100)
- Published research in quantum computing or related IEEE/ACM journals
- Strong background in high-performance computing architectures
