Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum annealing systems with >1000-qubit coherence
- Develop cryogenic control systems for quantum processors at 10mK temperatures
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing infrastructure
- Create fault-tolerant networking protocols for distributed quantum systems
- Optimize quantum error correction algorithms using machine learning
- Lead integration of quantum accelerators with classical HPC clusters
- Document quantum system architectures and publish research findings
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years experience with quantum hardware or superconducting circuits
- Expertise in cryogenic engineering and quantum control systems
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Strong background in low-latency networking and distributed systems
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Experience with Python/C++ for quantum system optimization
- Knowledge of NISQ-era limitations and fault-tolerance pathways
