Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols for financial and government systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing post-quantum encryption frameworks
- Collaborate with quantum hardware teams to optimize algorithm-hardware integration
- Conduct threat modeling for quantum computing vulnerabilities in legacy systems
- Present findings at global quantum security conferences and industry summits
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum information theory and cryptanalysis
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Cryptography, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development or post-quantum cryptography
- Published research in quantum-resistant encryption methods (IEEE/ACM publications)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, or Cirq)
- Experience with NIST's post-quantum standardization process
- Security clearance eligibility (Top Secret preferred)
- Strong track record of leading technical teams in high-stakes environments
