Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise-grade applications.
- Collaborate with theoretical physicists to translate quantum algorithms into production-ready software.
- Optimize quantum circuitry and minimize error rates in qubit operations.
- Lead the migration strategy from classical systems to hybrid quantum-classical models.
- Mentor junior engineers and define technical best practices for the 2026 stack.
- Conduct research into new qubit technologies and error correction methods.
Qualifications
- B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on high-performance computing.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or PyQuil).
- Strong understanding of linear algebra, probability, and complex systems.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
