Apex Horizon Systems is pioneering the technological infrastructure for the next decade. We are seeking a visionary Senior 2026 Readiness Architect to lead our strategic technology planning and system modernization initiatives.
In this pivotal role, you will define the architectural standards necessary to support emerging AI, quantum computing, and decentralized web technologies expected to dominate the landscape by 2026. You will bridge the gap between theoretical future tech and practical, scalable enterprise solutions.
You will be responsible for ensuring our platforms are not only robust and secure today but are scalable and adaptable to the demands of the future.
Responsibilities
- Design and oversee the implementation of scalable, future-proof system architectures for global enterprise applications.
- Lead the integration of next-generation AI and machine learning models into core business processes.
- Define technical roadmaps and standards for quantum-resistant encryption and secure data handling.
- Mentor engineering teams on best practices for microservices, containerization (Kubernetes), and cloud-native development.
- Conduct rigorous performance testing and cost optimization for cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP).
- Collaborate with product managers to translate futuristic requirements into actionable technical specifications.
- Ensure compliance with emerging data privacy regulations and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (PhD preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in software architecture, system design, and technical leadership.
- Deep expertise in Python, Java, or Go programming languages.
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container orchestration.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, RESTful APIs, and high-availability patterns.
- Familiarity with quantum computing concepts and post-quantum cryptography is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
