Role Overview:
The 2026 Initiative requires a leader who can bridge the gap between academic research and production-grade software. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of AI model development, from data ingestion and training to deployment and monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy scalable large language models (LLMs) specifically designed for the 2026 strategic roadmap.
- Lead a cross-functional team of ML engineers, data scientists, and researchers.
- Optimize model inference performance for both cloud and edge computing environments.
- Establish best practices for MLOps, ensuring reproducibility and reliability of AI pipelines.
- Conduct rigorous testing for model bias, fairness, and ethical compliance.
- Collaborate with product teams to translate complex AI capabilities into user-friendly features.
- Stay ahead of the curve on emerging AI paradigms to keep the 2026 initiative relevant.
Qualifications
- PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with a focus on deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
- Proven track record of publishing research papers in top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ACL).
- Strong proficiency in distributed systems, high-performance computing, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Experience with prompt engineering and fine-tuning proprietary models.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
