Responsibilities
- Architect and Design: Lead the end-to-end design of scalable, high-performance neural network architectures for our upcoming 2026 product suite, focusing on efficiency and accuracy.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor a team of talented ML engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Model Optimization: Drive research and implementation of advanced optimization techniques (quantization, pruning, distillation) to deploy models on edge devices and cloud infrastructure.
- Strategic Roadmap: Collaborate with C-suite executives and product managers to define the technical vision and long-term strategy for our AI capabilities.
- Ethical AI: Establish and enforce best practices for AI ethics, ensuring fairness, transparency, and safety in all deployed models.
- R&D Integration: Bridge the gap between cutting-edge academic research and production-grade software engineering.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or PhD degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field with a focus on Artificial Intelligence.
- Experience: 7+ years of professional experience in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, or AI Engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership or architect role.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep expertise in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX. Proven experience in designing and training Large Language Models (LLMs) or Computer Vision models.
- Infrastructure: Strong understanding of MLOps, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve complex, unstructured problems with elegant, scalable technical solutions.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
